What is an anagram?
An anagram is a word or phrase formed by rearranging the letters of a different word or phrase, using all the original letters exactly once. For example, listen is an anagram of silent, and astronomer is an anagram of moon starer.
Our anagram solver takes the letters you enter and searches a massive dictionary to find every valid word that can be spelled from them — including full anagrams that use every letter, plus shorter words made from a subset of the letters. Results are grouped by word length so the highest-scoring plays are easy to spot.
